Introduction

This course is designed for new users who want to become proficient with Pro Engineer WF5 as quickly as possible. In this course you will focus on core modeling skills from basics to advance level including sketching, part modeling, assemblies, drawings and basic & advance model management techniques. This course also includes comprehensive lab sessions that enable you to practice new skills by creating realistic parts, assemblies and drawings. After completing this course you will be well prepared to work effectively on product design project using Pro Engineer WF5.0

Unit # 1

         Learning basics of computer aided design process

         Understanding CREO ELLEMENTS Interface.

         Learning sketching techniques for part features.

         Creating and editing datum planes, datum Axes, Datum Points.

         Creating EXTRUDES, REVOLVES, SWEEP and BLEND.

         Practical Lab Session.

Unit # 2

         Techniques of creating HOKES, SHELLS, DRAFTS.

         Creating ROUNDS and CHAMFERS.

         GROUPIMG, COPYING, MIRRORING and PATTERN.

         Editing features.

         Practice/ Lab Session.

Unit # 3

         Creating SWPT BLEND.

         Creating VARIABLE SELECTION SWEEP.

         Investigating parent/child relationship.

         Practical Lab Sessions

 

 

Unit # 4

         Introduction to assembly.

         Learning and assembly constraints and connection.

         Creating parts in assembly.

         Editing parts in assembly.

         Practical / Lab session

Unit # 5

         Introduction to drawing.

         Layout out drawings and creating views.

         Creating drawing annotations.

         Creating dimensions and tolerances.

         Creating bill of quantity.

         Editing Drawing.

         Practical Lab Sessions.
