Server Virtualization

VMware vSphere ESXi 6, Microsoft Hyper-V 2012 R2

RedHat KVM 3.5, Citrix Xen Server 6.5

(Step towards Cloud Computing)

Course Focus

Server virtualization is the masking of server resources (CPU, Memory, Storage and Networks). The server administrator uses a software application (called Hypervisor) to divide one physical server into multiple isolated virtual environments. The virtual environments are also known as guests, instances, containers, Child partitions or emulations.

As there are many choices for the different vendors of Hypervisor, so deciding the right Hypervisor technology for your infrastructure is an interesting question. Major virtualization vendors have their pros and cons, so consider the features of these bare-metal virtualization hypervisors before you make your decision.

So this course is design to create an ease in your decision by comparing of top 3 Hypervisor vendors with demonstration of their top features.

This 8-days (3 hours per day), instructor-led course will focuses on all the top features that you must need to know before choosing the right hypervisor.
